Installation Service

To make life easier Premier Electrics now offers its customers an installation service. We will disconnect your old appliance and unpack and install your new one, even taking the packaging away. Our technicians will demonstrate how to use the appliance and check that everything is in working order before leaving. For a small fee we can also remove your old appliance for recycling.

We provide a home installation service in the following areas:

Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Dorset, Hampshire, East Sussex, London, Middlesex, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Surrey, West Sussex & Wiltshire.

 COST OF INSTALLATION

Freestanding Appliances = £20.00

Integrated Appliances = £60.00

American style fridge freezers = £20.00

A NOTE ON INTEGRATED APPLIANCE CONNECTION Integrated appliances can be a bit more complex to install. Our technicians will disconnect the old appliance and unpack and connect the new one. We will also fit your kitchen panel door onto the appliance if your machine requires it. However because everybodys kitchen is different it is worth checking the terms and conditions below before placing and agreeing to the connection service.

 REMOVAL OF YOUR OLD MACHINE

As part of our delivery and connection service, we can also remove your old appliance for recycling. The cost of this service is

£12.00

At the same time as delivery our technicians will remove your old appliance for disposal in an environmentally friendly manor. We also remove all product packaging for recycling. The removal and recycling of electrical appliances is done in accordance with the WEEE (Waste Electrical Electronic Equipment) regulations 2007. To fulfill our obligations as an appliance retailer we have contributed to the Valpak WEEE distributor take back scheme. If you would like any more details on recycling please visit www.valpak.co.uk

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CONNECTION

1) We can ONLY connect and install ELECTRIC APPLIANCES. We are not corgi registered and as such cannot connect, disconnect or reinstall gas appliances.
2) All connections are done on a like for like basis (the machine to be installed is the same type of machine being removed ie: a freestanding washing machine for a freestanding washing machine) All installations require an existing power supply and plumbing work adjacent to where the appliance will be placed. We cannot move or adapt plumbing or power supplies.
3) Installation of integrated appliances is on a like for like basis. While connection includes fitting a customer's kitchen door onto an appliance, we cannot move or adapt cupboards, power or plumbing supplies to complete an install.
4) When connecting an appliance that is cold feed only we will blank off the hot feed to the appliance to prevent leaking.
5) Prices of appliances and connection is on a like for like basis. If additional work or materials are needed, we will quote before any futher work is carried out.
6) We cannot install appliances if the stop valves (hot and cold taps) to the appliance are faulty or cannot be turned off.
7) We will not install electric appliances in bathrooms or where it is deemed unsafe to do so by our technicians.

8) IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE APPLIANCE DIMENSIONS BEFORE ORDERING. THIS IS NECESSARY TO MAKE SURE THE APPLIANCE WILL FIT THROUGH DOORS AND INTO THE CAVITY/SPACE.

9) It is advisable to make sure there is easy access for our technicians to deliver and install your appliance. Removal of delicate objects that are in the line of delivery / installation is advisable.
